Salem Community College - Carneys Point New Jersey

Salem Community College offers three degrees: the Associate in Applied Science, the Associate in Science, and the Associate in Arts. SCC also offers one-year certificate programs, partnership programs in allied health careers and the Specialist Series that offer content and skill acquisition in preparation for employment in career specialty areas.

Many programs are designed to prepare students for entry into specialized careers. Others have been developed to parallel the first two years of a four-year college or university program, and are designed to assist students in continuing their education after SCC graduation.

Salem Community College is a two-year, public, comprehensive institution of higher education authorized to grant associate degrees (A.A., A.S. and A.A.S.) and certificates in over 40 liberal arts, business, practical nursing and technology programs of study. SCC places strong emphasis on educational outreach and an open admissions policy. SCC is committed to providing quality instruction, academic support and student services that meet students’ educational goals.

SCC’s faculty and staff are committed to providing students with opportunities to pursue academic, professional and personal excellence. Small classes and personal attention are important parts of SCC’s commitment to student success.

SCC offers the only scientific glass technology associate degree program in the United States.

Salem Community College is fully accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. In addition, the college and its programs are approved by the New Jersey Commission on Higher Education.
